Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we unfortunately cannot offer a refund or exchange. This policy applies to non-perishable items only, as outlined below.

Due to the perishable nature of our products, specific terms apply to fresh food items.

Please read carefully to ensure clarity regarding eligible returns and refunds.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition as received, and in its original packaging.


Non-Returnable Items

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned:

  • Perishable goods and fresh food items, any edible items including, but not limited to, freshly prepared patisserie, baked items, and desserts.
  • Gift cards.
  • Downloadable software or other digital products.
  • Health and personal care items.
  • Seasonal or holiday items after the relevant holiday (e.g., Christmas-themed products).

To Complete Your Return

  • Proof of purchase (e.g., a receipt or order confirmation) is required for all returns.
  • Returns are only accepted for non-perishable, unused items in their original condition and packaging.

Please note: Do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer or supplier unless explicitly instructed to do so.


Partial Refunds

Partial refunds may apply in the following scenarios:

  • Items showing signs of use or damage, not due to our (beurre patisseries) error.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of its status.

  • If approved, a refund will be processed to your original method of payment within 5-15 business days.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you experience delays in receiving a refund:

  1. Verify your bank account for pending credits.
  2. Contact your card provider or bank for updates (processing times may vary).

Sale Items

Only regular-priced items are eligible for refunds. Sale or discounted items are non-refundable.


Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange a product for the same item, contact us at info@beurrepatisserie.co.uk


Collection and Shipping Returns

Beurre Patisserie operates primarily on a click-and-collect basis:

  • Orders must be collected at 2 The Crescent, Lytham St Annes, FY8 1SN during the designated collection period.
  • Products not collected within the scheduled time and/or date chosen at product selection or checkout will not qualify for refunds.

For non-perishable items:

  • If shipping applies, customers are responsible for return postage costs.
  • Consider using a tracked shipping service for valuable items. We do not guarantee receipt of returned items without tracking.

Gifts

  • If an item was marked as a gift during purchase and sent directly to the recipient, they will receive a gift credit upon return approval.
  • If the item was not marked as a gift, the refund will be processed to the original purchaser.

Additional Provisions for Perishable Items

Due to health and safety regulations, perishable food products cannot be returned unless:

  • There is a defect or fault in the product at the time of collection.

Customers must report issues within 24 hours of collection, providing photographic evidence if applicable.
